New York and Las Vegas are two of the greatest cities in the world. So, it only makes sense that New York New York Hotel & Casino captures the flavors, attitude, and high-energy vibe of the Big Apple, all on the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
From the moment you see its skyline-style façade, with replicas of the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge, you’ll know this isn’t your average resort. It’s a themed playground for adults, designed to dazzle, entertain, and deliver that unmistakable NYC edge.
As someone who’s recently stayed and played at New York New York Las Vegas, here's a full breakdown of what to expect, and why it might just be the perfect base for your next Vegas escape.
The Rooms at New York New York: Comfort Meets City Chic
I loved the way the rooms at New York New York combine modern convenience with sleek, minimalist style. While I admit you won’t find ultra-luxury here like you might at the Wynn or Venetian, the rooms at New York New York have everything that matters in a Las Vegas vacation.
Comfortable beds and clean, well-kept spaces
Great Strip views if you book the right room
Affordable price points for the location
Quick access to casinos, shows, and restaurants without endless walks
Easy access to T-Mobile Arena for concerts or sports
Beginner-friendly gaming floor
Family-friendly vibe & entertainment
Impressive array of restaurants and bars
New York New York Entertainment: From Cirque Du Soleil to Live Piano Bars
The Cirque du Soleil show "Mad Apple" is one of the biggest shows on the strip and is only available at New York New York. Yet it’s not the only show in this miniature metropolis worth seeing.
Mad Apple at New York-New York Las Vegas is an electrifying night out that blends the grace and elegance of Cirque du Soleil with the wild energy of NYC nightlife.
This acrobatic variety show turns the Big Apple into a sensory overload with jaw-dropping aerial stunts, live music, edgy stand-up comedy, and neon-drenched spectacle. It’s fast, fierce, and definitely for adults.
If you want to level up the Mad Apple experience, you need to book the VIP Social Party Tickets. This gives you the complete feel of being backstage at a premier Broadway event, with the combined social energy of Las Vegas and New York City.
I worked in theater for a while, and I can tell you that normally this level of access is impossible to get. Especially on major stages like Broadway in New York City. So, the opportunity for me to get a taste of the backstage social scene all over again was like coming home, while soaking in its unique frenetic energy.
This Mad Apple VIP Social package also includes:
Prime seating
Access to a pre-show open bar
Meet & greet experience
A hosted party vibe that’s perfect for groups or solo travelers
Other New York New York Entertainment Options
Dueling piano bar The Bar at Times Square (rowdy, fun, crowd-pleaser)
Live music and events in the casino area.
New York New York is also conveniently close to T-Mobile Arena, which I think makes it a perfect home base if you're planning to take in an event.

New York New York’s Casino Floor: Classic Vegas Action
The casino here is lively, not too overwhelming, I appreciated the distance that they put between the banks of slots and games. I’m not a big fan of feeling packed in like livestock when I gamble, and I feel like the layout of the casino floor legitimately respects that.

Final Thoughts On New York New York
New York New York, Las Vegas is a great casino and hotel for people who like a Big Apple Vibe. Yet don’t want to deal with Manhattan traffic. It's great for first-timers, partygoers, and anyone who loves a little character in their Vegas stay.
While it has a mature, adult vibe where you want it, New York New York is also family-friendly. The arcade, coaster, and much of the decor are kid-appropriate. The gaming floor is also very friendly to first-time gamblers and isn't as tightly packed as some other Las Vegas Casinos.
I think the most appealing things about New York New York is the Mad Apple Cirque Do Solei experience and the easy access to T-Mobile Arena for concerts and events.
